Funding bids for Thames Marshes NIA

A suite of external funding bids for the Greater Thames Marshes NIA with the objective of generating £7M investment

Working on behalf of the Greater Thames Marshes NIA, Sheils Flynn worked with stakeholders to prepare a series of funding bids, including two EU LIFE + bids (integrated urban water resource management within the Thames tributary river catchments, with Groundwork London, and A Climate Change Adaptation Strategy, with RSPB); an HLF Landscape Partnership bid for the South Essex Marshes, which enhances connections between the marshes and their landward urban communities; an Interreg V bid  focusing on integrated multi-functional use of brownfield sites as a component of economic regeneration; and a Horizon 2020 bid which promotes effective intertidal and riparian ecosystem restoration in urban estuaries via collaborative partnership with developers
